Youth Gardening Education

Master Gardeners of York County offers gardening expertise and financial support, and serves in an advisory role to multiple schools in the York County area. Teaching children gardening can have a profound impact on their development and well-being. Benefits include improved nutrition as they are more likely to eat fruits and vegetables. MGYC achieved more than 400 youth contacts during the 2024-25 school year.
